Ted brought home this candy cane reindeer, made as a present for him by one of the wonderful teaching assistants in his class. He was so thrilled that she had made it especially for him, that I wanted to share it with you here. It is such a great idea and looks great on our tree.
Ted has had a wonderful time in school in the run up to Christmas, thanks to his fantastic teacher and assistants. They have had loads of great ideas – here is another of Ted’s Christmas tree decorations that he made in School for this Christmas. He was so excited to show it to us and put it on our tree himself. I love the idea of personalising a Christmas tree bauble like this.
I was making some fairies for the Christmas Crafts workshops that I am running this week and next and Ted loved them and wanted make one of this own, which is in the middle. He thought our Christmas tree will need an angel on top, so has added a halo to his. I know that Christmas is weeks and weeks away, but we can’t wait to put them on our Christmas tree – I am sure that between now and Christmas these three fairies will be joined by many more. Well, it might be weeks until Christmas, but in our house, we have already been thinking lots about it – Christine and I are running some Christmas Craft workshops over the next few weeks, which we are very very excited about. Plus – Ted has already started asking how many sleeps it is until Christmas, so already in our house we are rather in the mood for Christmas.
