We have just returned from a wonderful holiday in Pembrokeshire, and managed to spend most days on the beach. On one of the days, we decided to see what we could make with pebbles – here are our pebble tower sculptures, inspired by British artist Andy Goldsworthy.
We collected pebbles of different sizes, and started seeing how many we could balance one on top of the other, with the towers getting smaller towards the top. At first we thought that four or five was the most that we could balance, but once the challenge was set, Al and Ted soon got to work and managed to make a tower of ten pebbles.
Here Ted is adding pebbles on top of other pebbles, carefully balancing them to create pebble tower sculptures.
