Super quick fork pompom

Super quick fork pompom

This is a super quick and really simple way of making tiny pompoms that my great friend Christine showed me. All you need is some wool, a fork and a pair of scissors and in next to no time you can have as many pompoms as you wish to make. Ted enjoyed making these and was really surprised just how quick and easy they were.  It was also a great activity for developing fine motor skills. I just know that we will be making lots more of these.

How to make your own

  1. Thread the end of a ball of wool through the middle gap in your fork and secure
  2. Wrap wool around the fork until well covered
  3. Cut and tie wool.
  4. Thread a length of wool through the middle prong of fork, pull through and tie tightly
  5. Cut wool at either side of fork and hey presto, you have a mini pompom
