Bubble wrap print lamb

Here is Ted’s bubble wrap printed lamb that he made just before Easter. He made several of these cute little lambs, and had a messy fun afternoon making them. The bubble wrap works really well printed, and looks like the fluffy wool of a little lamb.

Here is how to make your own

Materials

  • Coloured card or paper to print on
  • Bubble wrap
  • Scissors
  • White paint
  • Black paint
  • Potato
  • Knife
  • Brush

How to make your own

  1. Draw round a small bowl onto bubble wrap
  2. Cut out rough circular shape out of bubble wrap for the lamb’s body
  3. Cut a medium sized potato in half to use to print the lamb’s head
  4. Cover the bubble wrap in white paint and then turn the wrap over and press onto the middle of some paper
  5. Cover the halved potato in black paint and then push onto paper for the lamb’s head
  6. Ted then painted four legs with black paint and dipped his fingers into the white paint and finger printed eyes
