Shell creatures

I was looking through our photos and came across these shell creatures that Ted had made last summer, and thought they were so cute that I just had to share them. I remember him having had a really fun afternoon making these creatures from our collection of shells. They lived all around the house for quite a number of weeks.

These were so simple to make, that Ted quickly got the hang of it and invented all sorts of colourful and many legged creatures – a good activity to help little ones develop confidence and independence in making their own things, as well as being great for their imagination.
