Butterfly clothes peg paper clip

Butterfly clothes peg paper clip

I can’t believe how quickly the summer holidays are flying by, and that in just a week Ted will be starting school. While I was looking through some photos I found these of some gifts that Ted made at the end of the summer term for his pre school teachers. He really wanted to give them something he had made specially for them himself. We made large butterflies on clothes pegs earlier in the year, which are still pegged to curtains in our lounge and we thought smaller ones would be perfect for paper clips.

Materials

  • Card
  • Tissue paper
  • Glue
  • Wooden clothes peg
  • Double sided tape
  • Magnetic strip

How we made it

  1. I cut out a simple butterfly shape
  2. Ted glued one side of the butterfly and stuck on tissue paper squares
  3. Stick double sided tape onto one side of the wooden clothes peg
  4. Stick clothes peg onto back of butterfly
  5. Stick the magnet onto back of clothes peg
